Organics
Garden organics from kerbside collections, or delivered by householders and small businesses, are processed at our Lucas Heights, Eastern Creek and Chullora Waste and Recycling Centres.
We provide access to a range of technologies including open windrow composting at Eastern Creek and Lucas Heights, the UR-3RŪ Process at Eastern Creek and soon, tunnel composting at the Macarthur Resource Recovery Park at Jacks Gully.
The materials are either processed into compost and mulch products for agricultural and horticultural use or used as biofuel to produce green electricity.
