Location: Castlereagh Waste & Recycling Centre The Northern Road,
Berkshire Park
The Castlereagh Waste & Recycling Centre stopped accepting waste in
1998 and is now undergoing rehabilitation. Currently, the Rehabilitation
and Post-closure Use Community Consultation group meets regularly to discuss
the rehabilitation process and the future of the site. The group has an
independent chair, Mary Walker of Negotiated Solutions.

Groundwater Monitoring Program
IT Environmental (Australia) Pty Ltd (IT Environmental) are contracted
by WSN Environmental Solutions to conduct the groundwater monitoring program
at the Castlereagh Waste and Recycling Centre (WRC).
