Management
As a statutory State Owned Corporation,
WSN Environmental Solutions is governed by a Board whose members are appointed
for a three year term.
The Board
The Board is appointed by the shareholding Ministers, The Hon. Michael
Costa MP and The Hon. John Watkins MP, in consultation with the portfolio
Minister, Minister for Climate Change, Environment and Water The Hon. Phil
Koperberg MP. The Board appoints the Chief Executive Officer.
WSN Environmental Solutions Board of Directors is responsible and accountable
to the voting shareholders. The Board comprises a Non-Executive Chairman,
the Chief Executive Officer as an Executive Director and a maximum of six
Non-Executive Directors.

Board Responsibilities
The role of the Board is to:
- Set the strategic direction for the corporation
- Agree the strategic direction with the shareholders via the Statement of Corporate Intent
- Set policy and ensure compliance systems are in place
- Approve the corporate plan and budget
- Approve major transactions
- Appoint the CEO
- Effectively monitor the performance of the corporation
- Determine delegations of Authority
